Ms. Hohmann is a copywriter specializing in the natural health industry. She has been engaged in writing and natural health for most of her life.
An avid organic gardener, Ms. Hohmann has been involved with natural and organic foods since the 1970s, working at the People’s Food Coop as well as the Herb & Spice Coop. She has also raised heirloom vegetables and chickens commercially, running a stand at a local farmer’s market.
A mother of five and soon-to-be-grandmother, Ms. Hohmann was active in homeschooling in its early days. She has studied and successfully used homeopathy, herbs, probiotics, and nutritional supplements to keep her family healthy for over 30 years.
In the mid-90s, she worked as a contributing editor of Bonfire, a local literary and arts journal out of Ann Arbor.
Ms. Hohmann studied copywriting through the industry-leading American Writers & Artists Institute (AWAI). She was personally coached by the late award-winning “copywriter’s coach” Chris Marlow. She has attended numerous copywriting webinars and has trained with million-dollar copywriter Joshua Boswell, and has a certificate in Technical Writing from Washtenaw Community College.
A First Prize winner in one of AWAI’s writing contests, Ms. Hohmann has worked for Ezdia and Deluxe Business Services, as well as doing freelance copywriting.
Ms. Hohmann lives and writes on a small farm in scenic rural Michigan with her husband, two youngest children, a German shepherd, multiple cats, and a flock heirloom chickens.
